We recommend ST’s low cost STM32F469 and STM32F723 Discovery kit for starter projects, as they are very popular development platforms for experimenting with real-time biomedical signal processing applications. The onboard Arm Cortex-M4/M7 based microcontrollers are a very capable processors, providing high computational performance while maintaining low power and cost with floating-point operations.
For clients wishing to experiment with more advanced algorithms and requiring Azure IoT services, we offer our biomedical RAD module. This includes various biomedical analog front-ends (in the form of options boards), several processors, such as Cortex-M7 for real-time data acquisition and processing, and a Cortex-A53 for managing the Azure IoT services. Several connectivity options are also offered, including Wi-Fi, BLE and Ethernet.
