Directions: By train from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport

Trains to Enschede leave Schiphol every thirty minutes. Take the train towards either Enschede or Groningen/Leeuwarden. If you take the latter train, you have to change in Amersfoort and get the connecting train to Enschede (usually from the opposite platform). The train from Schiphol to Enschede stops at the following train stations: Duivendrecht, Amersfoort, Apeldoorn, Deventer, Almelo and Hengelo. The journey takes slightly over two hours and is quite enjoyable.

Directions: By Car

1. Take the A1 motorway towards 'Hengelo'.
2. Take exit number 31, sign posted 'Hengelo-Noord'.
3. Turn right onto 'Oldenzaalsestraat', and stay on it for approximately 1.7km.
4. At the traffic lights turn right onto the N737, and stay on the N737 for approximately 7 km.
5. At the first set of traffic lights (after seeing the sign for 'Enschede'), turn left onto 'Vanekerstraat'.
6. Stay on Vanekerstraat for a few hundred metres (the road will bend right, but you need to turn left).
7. After turning left at the bend, stay on Vanekerstraat for approximately 100m, and then take the third turning to your right (Diezestraat).
