V5.4.0 (2 June 2025): Overview
This release introduces key features for biomedical, IoT, and predictive maintenance applications, including a dedicated BLW Tracker UI for low frequency tracking in loadcell applications, and a BLW (baseline wander) removal filter for accelerometers and ECG data. We’ve also added an IEC 60601 reference design for ECG, enabling a complete IEC 60601-compliant filtering solution out of the box.
The ANSI C framework has also been significantly updated, with strict data typing, improved memory management, and support for single- and multi-sample modes — specifically designed to help Arm developers implement reliable real-time embedded systems very easily.
Additional enhancements to FilterScript, the Signal Analyser, and the UI improve performance and usability across core workflows.
Main UI Enhancements
- New BLW Tracker UI for low-frequency filter design – ideal for biomedical and predictive maintenance applications (both highpass and lowpass).
- Added a reference design for designing IEC 60601 compliant filtering cascade for ECG applications. This new functionality supports the design of a full filtering cascade, including compensation for the effects of sigma-delta ADC digital filters, enabling a complete IEC 60601-compliant filtering solution out of the box.
- Modernized Tooltips with Windows 11 styling.
- Added BLW Tracker Support to Python, Matlab, Scilab, C# .NET and ANSI C code frameworks.
